Birds of a Feather

How sweetly sings the red bird

Herein the light of day
Yet when darkness falls upon us
You’ll see he’s flown away

Who joins us then? The owl!
So wise for all his years
As he sits aloft a mighty oak
Dispelling all our fears

Which bird is owed more glory?
To which do we owe shame?
Neither. Both are worthy.
For their Creator is the same.
