The words are my own.

Art by Burak Ulker.

As the world tumbles and toils with tumultuous trepidation, I seek refuge from the turmoil by going deeper within. Only the inner sanctum of the sacred heart can save me from the snare of evil that freely roams our hallowed earth both night and day. Only within can I hope to be spared from the soaring egos that assault one another without thought of the visceral carnage that lies in their wake. There too, I’m afforded the opportunity to remain unmasked and unveiled, unlike the bulk of my brethren who are both literally cloaked and metaphorically daggered. Safe harbors await each of us on this dark night of the soul. Simply follow the light within and stay put, dear ones. Stay put.

Stories in the Garden

Smiling faces hide pain, confusion

Casualties of the grand illusion
Darkened forces hover near
Planting seeds of hate and fear
Some bought in and sleep so deeply
Others awaken, but live so meekly
Blue rays souls will guide with love
While indigos help us rise above
Cosmic forces come to aide us
Remind us of the light that made us
Angels whisper in our ear
To tell us of their presence here
Gaia hums a forgotten tune
Drum beats thunder beneath the moon
The ancients walk the earth at last
Primordial memories holding fast
A day of reckoning soon will come
The final moments have begun
So please decide, for all it’s worth
With whom you stand on this good Earth
All are joined now, sisters, brothers
No one questions race or color
Love unites us in our truth
We pass it down to all the youth
There will be fire and wind and storm
Plagues and pestilence, bugs that swarm
Mother Nature must unleash
The burden caused by darkened beasts
But fear not dear ones, harm won’t find us
We’re stronger than that which seeks to blind us
Hold fast dear ones to your light
And we shall set the wrong to right
The final say is not yet known
Yet many gather to lead us home
Whatever happens, come what may
The light is forever here to stay.

The Chalice

I find that people do not empty or drain me of that which I am. I make certain that my chalice is full before engaging with others so that I approach them only to offer love and kindness, seeking nothing of them. When they ascertain that I love and respect them, more often than not, they offer the same in return. What a beautiful exchange from heart to heart and soul to soul. Surely there is no greater gift of spirit.

Whisked away by a hope and a dream

Past life memories unforeseen
Ancient voices looming near
Sagacious minds dispelling fear
Demons with their subterfuge
Ensnared me for an interlude
I’m sanctified by my travails
Set aloft on worthy sails
Drifting in a balmy sea
Wary of the enemy
Angelic choir sings me to sleep
Such sweet voices make me weep
Touched by their solicitude
In a wistful, yearning mood
Pulled back to present by my emotion
As my lover offers his devotion
And now I find my heart is full
His words like candy to my soul.

Head full of clouds
Fraught with confusion
Searching for truth
Within the illusion

Reaching for you
Nobody there
Irreparable silence
Haunting the air

Nocturnal chaos
Diurnal slumber
Voices inside
Crashing like thunder

Always the dreamer
Never the woken
Forever imprisoned
By words left unspoken.

A tale like ours has never been told

There are prophesies
From days of old
Murmurs, meanderings
And secrets whispered in hushed tones
But mostly
We are unknown

So now, at this pivotal moment
In time and space
I come forward
To reveal and represent
A proud race
One of beauty
Imbued with wisdom
And full of grace

Divine, empowered, and star-born
To uphold higher truths we are sworn
We come in peace and speak with kindness
Everywhere you look
You will find us
We fully inhabit your good Earth
We offer love and spiritual rebirth
You’ll find us in all walks of life
Especially those bogged down with strife
For wherever souls cry out in need
The cry is answered by a Starseed.

Primordial Dreams

Floating in the ethers

Basking in the bliss
A heavenly dimension
Where time does not exist

Cavorting with the angels
Mindful revelations
Planning with the gods
Consorting with creation

Singing with the cherubim
Songs of devotion
Merging into oneness
A never ending ocean

I AM the I AM presence
I AM the God and Goddess
In moments just like this.
